We Are Innovation Launches New Video Series Starring Metahumans
* The global network presented its first video narrated by a digital human

Rosario, Argentina; Quito, Ecuador; Tallinn, Estonia (March 22, 2023) – The global network We Are Innovation (WAI) released the first in a series of videos starring and narrated by “metahumans.” Metahumans are digital humans that use graphics technology to resemble a real being with gestures and personalities of their own. These hyper-realistic avatars reduce the psychological distance between the digital image and flesh-and-blood people to create realistic emotional interaction.
Entitled “Half-Price EVs, A Miracle of Globalization,” WAI’s video tells how trade and peace are intertwined in the recent history of US-Vietnam relations. Taking as its starting point the 50 percent leasing discount by a Vietnamese EV manufacturer for Californian consumers, it traces a heartwarming parable of globalization.
“We are using metahuman technology to tell stories about how innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity improve our lives,” explained Federico N. Fernández, CEO of WAI. The author of the video script also pointed out that “this technology allows us to make professional quality videos in dozens of languages and thus reach different segments of our global audience.”
For his part, the technical director of the video, Luis León Pardo said that “this technology is in its infancy and has great potential, possibly competing against artificial intelligence in video editing. The outlook in the editing and content creation space will be fascinating in the coming years. I am thrilled that We Are Innovation is spearheading the use of these tools.”
