Leveraging insights from the comprehensive survey “Perceptions of Chileans on Digitalization: National Survey on their Attitudes and Aspirations,” the video provides a unique perspective on how technological advancements are reshaping Chilean society.

  • Broad Acknowledgment: An impressive eighty-seven percent of Chileans recognize digitalization as a crucial catalyst for growth.
  • Desire for Government Digitalization: Ninety-two percent of citizens express eagerness to see government processes digitalized, aiming for enhanced efficiency.
  • Views on Artificial Intelligence: More than half of the population views AI as a potential ally, amidst mixed sentiments.
  • Changing Work Environments: Thirty-one percent of Chileans are embracing remote and hybrid work structures.
  • Shift in Financial Services: Seventy-six percent have moved towards digital financial services, veering away from traditional banking methods.

 

Challenges and Opportunities:

While the enthusiasm for digital transformation is evident, challenges remain. About forty percent of respondents feel that political leaders could intensify their efforts in fostering innovation and digitalization. These trends position Chile as a potential frontrunner in innovation and digitalization throughout Latin America.
