Global Network We Are Innovation Appoints Beatriz Santos to Lead Communications
Lisbon, Portugal (September 9, 2024) — We Are Innovation (WAI), a global network comprising over 40 think tanks, foundations, and NGOs, is enthusiastic to reveal Beatriz Santos, a writer and communications professional, taking over the role of the Chief Communications Officer (CCO). With her experience and knowledge, Beatriz will play a vital role in We Are Innovation’s continued growth. She will further drive the company’s mission of advancing communications, helping with global outreach, and strengthening the network.
Beatriz is based in Lisbon, Portugal. Starting from the University newspaper five years ago, she has now over 80 published articles distributed by local, national, and international reach outlets. Her professional career includes international communications experience with the ATREVIA agency and an engagement with the European Parliament. Being socially active, Beatriz is also an essential part of the Students For Liberty organization, where she holds a role as a regional leader for Lisbon. She has written two books, a novel and a short-story compilation, which were published by Cordel D’Prata.

Seeing the potential media can have as a key player in the innovation and progress fields, she will be driving the organization towards a wider media presence, focusing on covering WAI’s mission in the new global regions.
